VisitOwl is a fun project that
provides people with a way to politely and effectively
improve the services and products they get in restaurants
and other businesses. VisitOwl has a strong focus
on vegans and vegetarians, people with food allergies,
people with disabilities and those with a strong concern
for the environment. We believe that this project
will make the world just a little better...one
business at a time.
Look

- Print out some free Hoot Cards (or
order some) - pick ones
you like. There
are cards for vegetarians/vegans, folks who are interested
in recycling and the environment, people with disabilities
and even folks with food
allergies!

- Examples of items you will see on
Hoot Cards:

- "Not enough vegetarian
items on the menu"
- "Entrance door too
difficult to open for people with
disabilities."
- "Hidden ingredients on
menu"
- "Staff unable to answer
questions about
ingredients"
- When
you spot something that would make a
business better, check the boxes on the Hoot Card and leave
it for the owner or manager. You can put it with the
bill, give it to the cashier or find
the manager in person.
It's easy to fill out the cards, just check
the boxes!
- Hoot Cards even have a place to check off
if the business was very accommodating and understanding to
your needs - a little thank you in an infrequently
thanked world.
Other people might want to Hoot the same
business! 
- Watch the VisitOwl forum for the business
owner's response. Hopefully, they will
make some cool changes in response to your Hoot
Card!
- Reap the rewards of improving a business
so it's easier, better and more fun for
you.

you've hooted when they've made your
changes.
